Angel sent a message to Matt Williams – Founder and CEO, Pro.com – Email Address that said:
Dear Mr. Williams,
I am contacting you today to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my experience with your company.
My first contact was via your website in mid July. At that time I submitted a request for work and scheduled an appointment via your online calendar on the first date showing availability which was Friday July 22nd between 10:00am and 12:00pm. The work request was for the removal and replacement of venting bathroom fan.
I received a confirmation email of my request on Wednesday July 20th from Chris. I contacted Chris via phone and discussed the particulars of the job. Photos were requested and sent and I was given a more firm estimate of costs.
I arranged to have Friday off work. No one showed up on Friday. I called and spoke with "Mike" who informed me that I did not have a firm appointment and that a contractor was not available for another week. During this conversation it was determined that due to scheduling conflicts it would be 2 weeks before someone was available on my day off. I was assured that every effort would be made to have someone out sooner due to the misunderstanding.
Several days passed before I called again to see about getting someone out. I given an apology and told that the ball had been dropped. Someone would get back with me right away to correct this. NO call came until July 29th which I missed. A message was left asking if I would like to schedule for work. I spoke again with "Mike" on July 30th and he assured me that he would have someone out on Tuesday August 2nd between 10:00am and 12 noon. Guess what??? Nobody showed up. Another day of missed work.
Today I spoke with Mike again. He said that I was not scheduled and no one was available until August 4th. I asked to speak with a manager and was told "someone" would call me back. I asked for a name and he said he did not know who it would be. I pressed further and was given the names of Steven or Ethan.
Steven did call me back about a half hour later. He said he was told that no one ever told me I was scheduled. Can you imagine how I was feeling at this point?
I did schedule for this coming
Friday at 12:00 noon but have very little faith that anyone will actually follow through and show up. So why would I even bother at this point? Simply because the electricians I spoke with weeks ago were booked about a month out and I have family coming to stay. A good friend told me he had very good success with Pro.com and recommended that I try the service.
I decided to let you know personally what my experience has been like so that you may correct any internal issues that are affecting your business in a negative way.
