Lee sent a message to Laura J. Alber Director, President, and CEO, Williams-Sonoma that said:

Dear Ms. Alber,

I'm writing you regarding a situation with your Williams-Sonoma website. I normal do not find it necessary to email the CEO of a company but since no one I spoke to on the phone seemed much to care. Nor did anyone reply to an email send to customer service. Twice now in the last 30 days I have placed orders online that have either been back ordered or POS and I was never notified. The first time it was a Christmas gift that arrived 2 weeks after Christmas even though I ordered 4 days before the cut off date. I ended up spending 2 hours on hold trying to figure out where my package was. And I again just spend 30 minutes on hold to be told that the item I ordered 8 days ago is POS. When I asked the customer service representative why I was notified she told me she asked the same questions to whomever she checked with and they replied they had no idea and said sorry and hung up. This is not acceptable. I'm your customer. I should not have to be calling you to find out where my packages are.
