Stephanie sent a message to Peter E. Nordstrom – President and CEO of Nordstrom Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dear Nordstrom,
I am writing because I have decided I can no longer shop at Nordstroms as long as your store continues to carry merchandise by Ivanka . As a Jewish women, I am frightened by the rhetoric used by Donald Trump against minorities and believe that his words do not represent my values and hope that they do not represent Nordstroms’s values. Ms Trump supports her Father who has been accused by many women of groping them, and who continues to demean women and use hate speech which I find frightening. While she herself has not used this language, she continues to support the man who does and has not been critical of any of his words or actions.
I can no longer, in good conscience support a store willing to do business with a a company that devalues me, along with many other Americans. It is my sincere hope as a life-long Nordstrom customer that you will stop carrying Trump’s brand. Please do what is right and earn my continued loyalty.
