Sherl sent a message to Glen F. Post, III President and CEO, CenturyLink, Inc. – email address that said:
Dear President CEO, Glen F. Post, III,
I am sending you an email regarding a situation that has occurred between some of your costumer service representatives and myself back in March and up to June of this year.
I originally started service with CenturyLink back in the summer of 2014, under the program for people with disabilities. At that time my rate was $18.33 and as of January 2016 it was increased to $18.70. In March of this year I received an e-statement saying that my new monthly payment would be $34.59. I did the online chat with two of your employees who tried to find additional promotions for me. I ended up call the customer service department as well. I was given 5 different quotes and the last person I spoke with brought it back to $34.59, at which time I asked that my service with CenturyLink be disconnected. On April 11, 2016 my service was disconnected. Although I did have the modem until two weeks ago (because I could not afford to return it) I did not have any service.
On June 17, 2016 I received an e-statement saying that I owed $108.29 which I am disputing. I did send an email to who ever sends out your bills and told them I am refusing to pay and that I would be contacting you.
Please check into this situation as I would like to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Sherl
