I received Strategic Incentive scheme from MOH and Ministery of Economics, Ministery of Development with priority...which is very rare to have ...We would lie to build a biotechnology plant aiming to develop and manufacture products fro cell-line!! This is imperative to reduce the budget deficit of the country which these companies are strongly supported by the Prime Minister and the President of Turkey!!
I hired Dr Orkun Eray as te Médical director with his full commitment promises from GSK and promises of delivering??! I invest a lot of money on him!!
We are a biotechnology company. I worked with F.Hoffmann La Roche for 36 Years and in the last 18 Years I managed all Emerging markets and build the strategy and in the last 6 years of my tenure I was the leader the whole Emerging Markets worldwide building the strategy for the company!! I worked with Bill Burns and Franz Humer and Severin Schwan!!
WhenI reach 60 years of age, I decided to bring the biotechnology to Turkey and MENA!! retired from Roche and based on Health Reform that these country Leadership dictate and gives highly beneficial incentive schemes I invested in Turkey and MENA.
I also started Phase I projects in the area of Biotechnology first time in Turkey. TDr. Orkun Eray gave me confidence , commitment and promise to deliver...This First Phase is first of its kind in Turkey.
Few weeks back he visited with me the MOH and gave the same promises and wit new move he stated us in the back>>. I do not see him reliable and this would be the same feeling with all these institutions!!
Dr. Orkun Eray convinced me that he can manage this Phase 1 and I should invest...which I did...and six months ago... Thereafter we started the work and a month ago in Ege University Medical faculty in Izmir we started phase one!!.
In the last few months he was behaving strange but claiming his commitment to TRPHARM.. Obviously he was lying!!! not loyal at all and above all cheating sand stating us behind our back!!
Only a week ago I found that he will move to CELGENE as Medical Director in Istanbul since the existing one is promoted as the Medical Director o Switzerland.
He is not reliable and I lost my face to authorities which I shall advise that I know in MOH and clinical and faculty level that he cheated us. this is proven....
I can not interfere to your decision of hiring him but it is obvious your people did not do the right survey.. You will fail with him!! I made the mistake and learned my lesson one more time ( life).
It is up to you to hire him.
