Milton Mazzei sent a message to Lee Kun-Hee Chairman, Samsung - email address that said:
Dear Samsung,
After being a Samsungs worldwide loyal customer for many years due to high quality products and state of the art technology, I am very disappointed about the service level given by Samsung in Brazil. I bought a led TV mod. UN46D6400UF in Mexico before moving to Brazil and last month the TV started to turn on/off intermittently. After contacting Brazilian Samsungs technical assistance, I was informed that several models experienced this problem and a recall was organized to solve it but I was also informed that my TV would not be covered because it was not purchased in Brazil. Such a service level in a globalized world is not acceptable nowadays because frontiers are almost none existing anymore. I believe this kind of attitude to solve a relatively simple problem speaks very bad about how customers in an emerging countries are treated by what I used to believe was the leading company in home appliances. I hope you can review the service level you offer outside North America or Europe, so you can still be top of mind worldwide not only for technology but also for service level and customers satisfaction
