I purchased a new samsung galaxy S7 Edge by prebooking via Axiom Telicom - Saudi arabia on April 2016 (On the first launch). It was working very fine and i am very happy with its perfomance. Since i am a regular samsung user - iam using samsung laptop, TV, Washing machine, Air conditioner. All are build with excellant quality and durability. I use my mobile 6 month and it never hangs or stuck. Hence i purchased another Galaxy S7 edge silver color for my sister before 2 weeks. (29/12/2016) from UAE. She is living in india so i send it her. She was very happy by its perfomance and she used to recomend this mobile to all her friends.
Unfortunatly before yesterday, while she put the mobile on charging, suddenly the socket went loose and mobile fell down on the floor and the display went broken..!! It was really an unexpected incedent and she never thought of being broke the display that easly. We were so disappointed by this incedent beacause as you know, Galaxy S7 edge coming with Corning Gorilla glass 4 and it should not broke that easly even its fall from just 1 meter below height.
We contacted to samsung india and they advise us that since this is a new mobile (purchased before 14 days) you can check the nearest service center as there is a promo offee for one time display replacement at a minimal cost. (Like $15) otherwise we need to pay ($298) for replacing the display. We contact the service center and they check our phone and purchase invoices and advise ua that the offer is applicable only for purchae inside india and not for UAE. we keep request them and contact samsung india and send many emails but they are saying the same. I understand the policies but since i just purchase that mobile at around $890 just 14 days before, i coulnt afford another $298 for replacing display. I humbly request to consider this as a special case and offer a goodwill since iam a regular samsung customer for many years. But they are sticking on there stand as the offer is not applicable for UAE purchase.
Sir, i know that samsung is always taking care of its customers. I believe in customer satisfaction. may i ask you for your kind support on this regard. Please support me on this time as iam a loyal customer to samsung since long time. If i could get that promo offer in india, i can change my display for $15 and i will be very much happy amd proud of samsung's customer support.
