Ravi sent a message to Greg Brown Chairman and CEO, Motorola Solutions, Inc. – email address that said:
Dear sir,
i buy my Moto g turbo edition in January and it was working very great until last weekend it get little wet in 10 minute rain and my phone was in my pocket all time ...and i submitted it in service center of my city .
They said we will send snap of your phone to company and will ask it's under warranty or not. i submitted my phone , i called yesterday and they said company will send us a format and we will send information to company according to that format.
i asked to worker on service center they said it's liquid problem and it will not under warranty but still we ask company to help you, was so helping but they telling it will cost me 5000 rs. if company deny for warranty.
sir my phone was only 10 minutes in light rain and your product info on official website is
"
Advanced water resistance
IP67-rated protection against water and dust means less worry about splashes and accidental drops in water.2"
sir it's just 10 minute light rain and they almost said we have to change display because is inside of display. Sir if your company said that this phone can survive in light rain, why this happened to me . I'm a student and 5000 Rs. is too big amount for me . Sir i'm not arrogant or want to hate MOTOROLA ,i have used Motorola products before too and i was so satisfying and it's best company in smartphones but help me in this incident.
now my phone is at service center of Bikaner(Rajasthan) INDIA
yours sincerely customer
Ravi
