Tariq sent a message to Akio Toyoda President and CEO, Toyota Motor Corporation – email address that said:
Dear Sir
Toyota is the most renowned and trustworthy name in international automobile industry and this fact provoked me to buy TOYOTA PRIUS with great pride and delight. I am writing this email in utter disappointment, I want to make complaint about deteriorating quality of Toyota Cars. I am Tariq Jamshed Ali. I live in Pakistan. I bought Toyota Prius hybrid Moder year 2011 on 29 July 2016.
I bought this car worth 20,000 US dollar. On 30 July 2016 when I was driving this car on motorway while coming towards my work place, at about 06:45 hrs, at that time outside temperature was 30 degree Celsius and inside car temperature was set to 26 degree Celsius. Suddenly I experienced a small crack on my wind shield. I stopped and analyzed the crack. Later when I reached my home and I observed that the size and length of crack got increased.
I bought this car due to huge brand fame in the world and reputed product of the Toyota brand. I am deeply saddened and frustrated with this experience. Although it's a second hand car but well maintained by the previous owner. I am shocked to see the quality control of the company that car wind shield got cracked without any physical reason. The pictures are attached as ready reference.
Hope TOYOTA will look into this matter seriously. Your prompt and substantial response for fixing and compensation this damage of my car will be highly appreciated by me.
