Dear Sir,
Thank you for taking the time to read this. The second week of Jan 2018 I received 2 checks as a promotional from Suntrust Bank. It stated no interest till Aug of 2019 .on 1/26/2018 I went to my local branch in Okahumpka FL to use one. I was informed by the teller that the ck was expired as of Dec. 29th. I was required to take a cash advance out on my credit card with Suntrust Bank. was charged an $80 fee for this then was informed that there was a 25 %. Interest.
Today Jan 29th I went to the bank to pay off the Cash advance in full. I stated I wanted the whole payment to be applied to the cash advance and was told SunTrust cant do that.
We are talking about 3 days thats all . If it was not for Suntrust sending me an EXPIRED CK. none of this would have happened. I spoke to 2 of your supervisors in the credit card Dept. VERY RUDE DISRESPECTFULL and in no way helpful.
I have been a loyal customer of Suntrust for 28 YRS. All I ask is what can you do to help me ? I would like my whole payment of $2000. be applied to my entire portion of the cash advance part n refund the $80.00 charge and see that the 2 supervisors get remedial training in customer service.
The only person that was of valuable help was MR. Romain Itwaru at the Okahompka branch. He is definitely a valuable asset to your organization. Trusting you will help me I will await your reply. Thank you Sir,
