Sraboni sent a message to Antonio Urcelay Chairman and CEO, Toys R Us, Inc. that said:

Dear Sir,I am writing this after being a valued customer and a r us card holder for past year. We also bought all our needs for our first baby from babies r us thinking it is the most reliable and economical store for baby stuff. However as we started knowing the store and the website more, it seems that the prices and policies are not consumer friendly. There were number of incidents which triggered us to write this email. I will give you a latest example. We bought a swing and the price has dropped to $30 online. Earlier I got 10% in store discount, however we have been told that if we price match with babies r us online price they won't give us the 10% ( even when we shop on day when the 10% is valid as a card holder). So we can’t get the benefit of the price drop. So it seems that either way we are not getting proper benefit of the price drop. Other stores like Macys gives you the benefit for both the online or even other stores price match with the discounts in the store. It looks like you have a policy which does not benefit the customer. They just look like there is a price drop but its more of a showoff rather than the actual. I guess we will now onward think about switching to other stores if the policies remain the same as it is not any help to us. On the other hand there are other shops which gives you such flexibility and options. Babies r us takes advantage with the customers necessities and play with the emotions at such a vulnerable period. Thanks Sraboni
