Dear Stephen H. Rusckowski :
Hello.
I am Hoonsoo as visiting scientist and came from South Korea.
First of all, I am not fluent in English. Therefore, I pray that my heart is transmitted well with this e-mail.
Also, I am sorry to send e-mail directly.
The reason why I wrote the e-mail is because of the bill that I have received.
I, my wife, and first daughter came for study in the United States in June last year.
Then, our family received a gift from God, May 26 days.
I believe that all of this was a blessing of God.
During pregnancy, the doctor gave my wife to care kindly.
In addition, Quest Diagnostics Company provided kind tests for my wife.
Thank you for all of your kindness.
However, I had a one problem.
Ive got the travel insurance when I came to the United States.
In my travel insurance (IMG), I know that faithfully pay the bill for what I had in the meantime care.
However, we have a decision letter not cover from the insurance company.
I did not understand health insurance system in USA.
So, doctor gave letter to me, and then we had test about this bill.
I never imagine what the price is so expensive ($2,762 .00)
Also, if I know what is test and how much is it, we would not have received this test.
My salary is $3,500 every month.
As a father of two children, it is a reality that I could not give many things for my children.
This cost is very high, but I was once again appeal, the answer came back was that not me to cover.
Now, this amount of money is a major concern in my family.
I am legally staying with the J1 visa.
I have scheduled to return to South Korea after completing the contract period in October next year.
Before back to home, if there is a fee adjustment, I would pay in good faith until the day we return.
We would like to sincerely ask me to adjust the cost.
During busy, thank you for reading my mail.
Today, I hope the Lord's grace to you.
Regards,
Hoonsoo
