Wellington sent a message to Martin Winterkorn CEO, Volkswagen Group – email address that said:

Dear VW AG,
It is with a heavy heart I express my disappointment with the VW Brand/group.
For starters, I am a Diesel lover. I was born and raised around diesels. When I was old enough, my first car was a 1977 VW Rabbit Diesel manual transmission.
Since then, I have a 1993 Rabbit diesel, a 2005 Jetta TDi, 2001 New Bettle TDi, a 2014 Jetta TDi, and most recently before the scandal I bought a 2015 Passat TDi SE.
I have also influenced my sister to buy a 2004 Jetta TDi and a 2013 New Beetle TDI.
Because of that, my best friend also bought a Jetta 2014 TDi.
I am not even mentioning the VW gas I had in the past my beloved VR6.
My dream car was/is the mean beast 2007 VW Touareg V10 tdi, which I cannot afford today, much less the new Touareg V6 TDi.
I have few lawyers following me, insisting I file a law suit against Volkswagen because of this emissions issue that came out last year.
I now owe US$35.000 on a car that nobody wants because they are under the impression it pollutes.
If I try to sell it today, if I find any buyer, I bet I will not get US20.000 for it.
I do not and I will not file law suits against Volkswagen, because I don’t think money can buy the love I have for the brand. I just wish my car would be worth enough for me to get my dream Touareg TDi, but even so, I do not know if I can get a new one here in the United States.
My question to the Volkswagen group and CEO, what should I expect from Volkswagen on this matter?
Will I be so disappointed that I should consider another brand?
Thank you.
Wellington
