Dear Mr. Bastian: I have been a Delta customer since 1998, and have been a Delta Gold card Sky Miles member since 2013. I live in the area of and fly nearly exclusively out of the Scranton/Wilkes Barre Airport. I understand the crunch of air travel in these days of COVID 19, but don;t understand, as the state prepares to move shortly into a Green phase, why Delta is discontinuing your service to our airport on July 8th. How is that going to help jobs? People will be flying again, to be sure, but they won't be flying on Delta, which is an airline many of us felt loyal to. That may change. American is the largest carrier out of this regional airport which was seeing a major growth spurt since 2017. If you suspend service, you may permanently lose a lot of loyal customers. You are also helping to inflict some real pain on an area which economically can't afford any more of that. PLEASE reconsider this decision. It appears to make little sense to cut flights when people will be returning to air travel soon. Sincerely, Anthony Grasso, Sky Miles # 2264345840.
