Dear Mr. Stack - I applauded you when you made the no-guns decision. Today in the Times, I gotta say you're a hero, in the real sense of the word, and from a high school teacher who teaches the great epic stories, and you're right up there: standing up for those who can't, and/or are not in power to do so; putting others before oneself.
It's pretty rare these days to get such a positive piece of news-reading, and I thank you for this morning's inspiration and for all the work you do. I know how hard it must be, but know that there are millions and millions of us who stand behind you, no matter what the whack-jobs might say.
