Hello Mr. Stack,

I wanted to start off by saying that I am a single mother of a 13 year old boy with Autism. I went to visit your store recently and purchased a treadmill that happened to be on sale for $999.00. I was so excited because this was my chance to finally do some self care for myself due to the fact that I don't have anyone else to care for my son if anything should happen to me. The delivery company that you chose to deliver your products (Select Express and Logistics) did a horrible job delivering my product. First off they had no shoe covers to put on and walked their muddy shoes all over my carpet, then they took almost the whole allotted 3 hours to put my treadmill together. The two guys acted as if they didn't know what they were doing. and instead of bringing the treadmill box inside, they took all of the pieces out the box outside in my driveway, bringing in one piece at a time, One of the pieces they slid on my new wood floor left a long scratch which was not there before. Once they carried all the pieces in my room they told me that I did not pay for assembly and that they were not going to put my treadmill together. I told them that I did in fact pay for assembly and immediately got on the phone to call Dicks Sporting goods, as soon as they saw me making the phone call, they immediately said it's okay, we will put it together. They assembled the treadmill, but the incline did not work at all. I asked them why isn't the incline working and they said that it was not a part of the assembly. I wanted to cry because my poor dog was barking the entire time, my son was nervous because of how long they were in the house, they lost my trust from the beginning when they scraped my floor with no apologies, lied about me not paying for assembly, and not fixing my treadmill properly. I am totally stressed out because I had to file a claim, and still have not heard anything from anyone in regards to who was going to fix the incline on my treadmill. At this point I am asking that you grant me my money back, along with the assembly fee, and I would like for you to have them pay for the damages to my floor. I worked really hard to buy my house and I have only lived here for 1 year. $1,200 may not seem like a lot of money to you, but I work extremely hard for my money. I came from nothing, and was a single mother who fought her way out of the system, obtained a Masters Degree in Social work, and am caring for a special needs child. My life is not easy at all, but I try not to make excuses. I really need to work out at home because I don't have anyone to look after my son, and the child care in the gyms around me are not "developmentally Disabled" Friendly. I am asking from one human being to another for your help. I want to be compensated for them wasting my time, damaging my property, and for their dishonesty. Please get back to me as soon as you can. Thank you
