I applaud you for standing on your convictions against the sale of assault weapons. Politicians in WA won't change until the people change - like the difference veterans received coming back from Vietnam and now. If you can figure out why that issue changed in the American minds, and apply it to the customers in your stores, and it spread far enough to make a change in the national thought, we might actually succeed in this endeavor.
