I have just returned for the third time trying to get golf clubs re gripped at your Johnson City, TN store. Once again there was no one in the golf shop. In fact I walked trough the store and there were only three people working. Two cashiers at each end of the store and one salesperson in the shoe department were the only visible people working at 11:30 am.
Now I have played golf for 70 years and been in retailing for over 65 years with time spent working for major retailers as well as managing golf courses and pro shops. I look at your inventory and wonder what the ROII is. It is my opinion that Dick's is in trouble and will exist as a viable business only if you can correct inventory and staffing issues.
You can not operate to a profit. But you can merchandise to a profit.
