I just need to let you know that I have been wronged by your company and that even though the amount of money you stole was less $100, it was nevertheless stolen from me by threat of loss of my credit score. I called and tried to get the customer service people to help me and they told me that your system had no records of my contacting Directv after July of 2019 until I cancelled my account on Dec. 29, 2019. That is simply not true. I contacted your company's customer service in November and early December of 2019 to find out why my bill had suddenly more than doubled and to see about getting a new plan that was more reasonable. Awful by the way. Then, they tried to offer me less service to reduce my bill. Stupid. Why? Anyway, I refused to lower my bill that way and called back on Dec. 26th to cancel my service permanently. They said it would be cancelled. The new billing period started on Dec. 28th. On Dec. 29th, when I still had service, I called to find out why. They said they would cancel it then and I would get a pro-rated bill for the time it was active on that billing period. I then returned the equipment on Jan. 5 and voluntarily paid a pro-rated amount (though I never received the promised pro-rated bill), for the days I still had equipment--though it was not being used. The system never logged any of the contacts between July and Dec. 29th. But because they didn't disconnect my service when I asked them to, they claim I owed another month of service. This is so wrong. The customer service agents all lied and the system was rigged to make sure that none of my contacts were retained until there was a free money benefit for a very rich company. I was then threatened with bad credit if I didn't pay Directv the money it did not earn and that I did not receive a service for. I have now paid that money to prevent this company from harming my credit. I need that back. Please return my 92.06 to me because you did not earn that money. It is now the principle of the thing. I no longer have any trust for Directv or AT&T. I am looking into switching all my services over to Verizon because I am so angry at Directv. Please fix this and I will stay. If you do not, I will leave and I will tell everyone about how I was treated by this company, but I will generalize it to all of AT&T too. Thanks.
