I have been a customer of Discover Bank for many years. We recently sold our house and bought a different one. The houses (both the one we sold and the one we bought) was/is in a trust where my daughter is the trustee. The closing for the house we sold occurred November 22, 2019. The title agency sent the proceeds of the sale by wire transfer to an account at Discover Bank also in the trust on November 22, 2019. The funds were never posted to our account. When asked about this, personnel at the bank said the funds would not be posted and the funds would be sent back to the title agency. The $25 wire transfer fee was credited to our account. When asked why the funds were not posted, we were given four different answers none of which made any sense. The title agency still has not received the money. Needless to say, we have totally lost confidence in Discover Bank for not being able to handle this relatively simple transaction. Will you look into this situation and give us a reasonable explanation of what happened and what has happened to our money?
