Lisa Lombardi-Rice sent a message to David Zaslav that said:
Mr. Saslov tonight I was watching the Discovery Channel and had the "opportunity" to be subjected to an ad advocating Black Lives Matter. I'm sure I'm not the only one in the country who feels that I should not have (what I consider) a terrorist organization being shoved down our throats. Always having to be "diverse" has only divided our country more, as before everything that has happened in the last few weeks, we had the opportunity to think as we pleased. I am not racist, but I'm old enough to remember the "good old days" when it wasn't a crime to think the way we choose, especially when watching a program on TV and not having the prevailing ideology of the moment brought into our homes.
I would highly suggest that if you are going to have Black Lives Matter on your channel, why don't you give some of your, and your channels, vast wealth, to the wonderful men and women who have been harmed by all the riots (which the Black Lives Matter is behind of) a bit if your time and money. Or, better yet, tell the organization of BLM to stop all of the rioting and killing they are responsible for.
