@dish – Charlie Ergen – We re a retired coupe, retired disabled service member and we bought an RV last

Maj.ret. John Harry sent a message to Charlie Ergen that said:

We re a retired coupe, retired disabled service member and we bought an RV last year. We had Dish service installed to be able to use it, if we should be in an area without service. At the time we ordered Dish we were told that we had to pay the first month of service ahead, which we did. We also told them that we would not be using it for several months before we are actually going on the road. We were told that was not a problem,, all we had to do call them and let them know when we wanted service. We thought everything was fine till we received a bill before our trip even started. We called and were told we had service. We said no we did not, we only had it installed into our RV. We have since been on the phone with your representatives for hours disputing these charges. When we had no success we informed our bank not to accept any further withdrawals from Dish. It has now been a year and we are still arguing with your company for fees to a service we never had and never used. We then did not use Dish on our trip either.
At this point we don’t know what to do, we will NOT pay for service we did not receive and did not use.

We are asking for your help in solving this problem so we can use your service later this year when we get back on the road instead of cancelling our account totally.

Maj. ret. John Harry
