Sherron Jackson sent a message to Doug McMillon that said:
Hello Mr. McMillan,
My name is Sherron Jackson and since last May after finally being released from doctor's care I filled out the application and was told i passed but could not be hired because i failed a certain portion of the Assessment test.
My question to you is how come it does not tell us in the results that although the applicant passed, but the portion of the test that the applicant is applying for they failed that part because the applicant is fighting hard to find out why they aren't getting hired.
The first time I worked for the company was in 2013, and I was with the company almost 2 years yes my attendance got me because I had missed time because of a illness, my first surgery happened in June, 2015.
Started back at the company again in March, 2016 thinking that I was okay so I have it everything i had at that time, I love what I do and Wal-Mart gives me the opportunity to show my customer service skills. I loved working in the money center because it is something and someone new everyday.
Six months in the year of starting I was struck with my illness again and after my attendance caught up with me again and after staring school, and although having the FMLA once it expired because of my schedule change I didn't accumulate enough hours to extend my FMLA and of no fault but my own I was let go but I also found out that i needed to have corrective surgery and that was done in February, 2019.
To see I passed the test I went to the store that I want to go back to and I am told that I passed but I didn't pass and that has me confused, what's worse is that I have to wait another six months before I can take the test again. I am feeling like I can't catch a break.
Mr. McMillan you have a woman who is ready to be part of the Wal-Mart family, is there any way I can take that portion of the test, or find a way to prove worth as a money center associate.
The store location is Baltimore, Maryland 21237 (Golden Ring) Petite Way store number 3489. Thank you for your time again Mr. McMillan I just wanted to know why the applicant can not see the whole result.
If you see fit that I shouldn't be apart of the Wal-Mart family again, I am still thanking you for the chance to explain my situation and to read my concern.
Thank you
Sherron Jackson
