@dmcmillon17 – Doug McMillon – I live in South Carolina and I witnessed a customer doing something in the produce

Edna Bernice Norris sent a message to Doug McMillon that said:

I live in South Carolina and I witnessed a customer doing something in the produce section that made me really angry. Given this COVID19 virus, or any other time, I suggest that you rethink how you package your produce like grapes and strawberries, blueberries, etc. This woman had 4 open bags of grapes and was picking through the good ones and taking them off of the stems into one of the other bags of grapes. She didn’t want the grape stems, which she deposited between the remaining unopened bags. I said something and she ignored me. It would be my suggestion that you put everything in clamshells and wrap them closed with tape. There is a Facebook video of someone doing this with strawberries! How about making this kind of produce tamper proof. You don’t know what people have touched, washed their hands in the bathroom or have nepharious intentions. This left me shaken about what ELSE she may have pillaged through! Thanks for your attention. You need to find a way to stop this even if you have to have employees or cameras watching out for this type of thing.
