Gracie sent a message to Doug McMillon that said:
Mr. Mcmillon, my child works in one of your stores in Tennessee. They wore a mask to work for protection after several of the other employees had left sick. The supervisor said that the mask could not be worn, and demanded it's removal. Your employees are at greater risk of exposure to covid-19 due to the large numbers of people they encounter at work. This virus is aerosolized.
Another company refused to allow its employees to where PPE while cleaning an ash spill because they didn't want to spread fear in the community. Now those workers are sick or dead. The company is facing lawsuits bbecase of this neglect.
Please make sure your store supervisors understand it is important to allow employees to protect theirselves.
Due to lack of PPE available for purchase, it would be nice if you would provide it for them.
Sincerely
A very concerned parent
