My 72 yr old mother has been a Walmart Assoc for 19 yrs. Today one of her co workers went to ER fearing she may have the Corona Virus. The 23 yr old female was told she probably does have the virus but would not be tested as she is not in a high risk category. No diagnoses no paid time off. The probable carrier of this dreaded virus was back to work the same day . Interacting with hundreds of people via Walmart. Although this is terrifying my focus is on the fact she is side by side with my "high risk category" mother.. Be sensible Mr. McMillon protect those that are most vulnerable, give your elderly associates paid time off!! Stop putting profits before people.. its shameful!! Your waiting for them to be tested?? Pray tell where are this critically needed test???
