Sylvia Farrell sent a message to Todd Vasos that said:
Last night at 7:00 pm I purchased a radio (the only one you carry) to take to the hospital for my mother who has been there for 23 days now after heart surgery. The radio does not have an external antenna so it would not pick up any good stations. I tried to return the radio, in its original box with the bag around it and the Styrofoam on the sides in perfect condition, at 9:45 am the very next morning. It cost me $24.95 and yes, i had the receipt. They would not refund my money or give me store credit. They said the company policy is exchanges only. I explained their was no reason to get another like it because their wasn't anything wrong with the one I had except it wouldn't pick up reception so their is no reason I would want to get another one exactly like it. They said that was their policy so they could do nothing. I then, shamefully out of pure frustration, threw it on the floor because it was a piece of crap, picked it up and threw it in the dumpster. I apologized to your manager and the cashier for yelling at them when I clearly know they were only doing their job. If your policy is exchanges only I believe their should be a sign that states that clearly for all customers to see before purchase. I will let everyone I know about this ridiculous policy so they can get their electronics at Walmart where exchanges, store credits, and returns can be made with ease. I will rethink going to Dollar General from now on.
