I don't know if you would remember me, but we received our Premier Partner - Diversity awards from the Lilly Recruitment Department the same year back in 2004.
I hear that you're now starting a new phase in your career, and I wish you all the best. I, too, have gone on to other pursuits from pharma, though have continued to further the causes of diversity and inclusion in every position.
I wanted to check in with you to see how the state of D I is now, at Lilly. I know that you have a senior vice president for diversity, but I was interested to know your perception of how effective the various programs are for the global community that makes up Lilly.
To further my own ability to serve, I am applying back to school to get my PhD in cultural anthropology from Purdue, in conjunction with planning more projects in collaboration with community organizations.
Again, thank you for the years you have served at Lilly, and I look forward to hearing about your next chapter.
