Carmi sent a message to J. Mario – President and Chief Executive Officer of Molina Healthcare, Inc. – Email Address that said:
Dr. Molina, I was a case manager for your company in Oakbrook, IL. between 11/14 and left 10/16. Although I can't say that it was the best employ I had, I was grateful for my position and did rather well. I handled the majority of oncology cases which is my background. I left because your company does not represent these members well. I saw members abused by providers you contract with. You have no one there who understands this disease. I found pharmacists approving the wrong drugs often against the NCCN guidelines and costing the company a lot of money. I was awarded this May as one of the 3 finalists for Cure Magazine's Extraordinary Healers. They did articles about me in Cure Magazine, Fra Noi Magazine and a video Interview. I was also in the 10th edition of the Extraordinary Healers book. All of which Mentioned your company. This was free publicity for your company that should have at the very least triggered a program to help these members...it did nothing. Those members still contact me because I am the only one who was here for them 24/7. I put them first and followed your vision and values. I ask nothing for myself. Please help these members. They are dying way too soon for all the wrong reasons and are now monitored by case managers who have little time for them. I had close to 70 members when I left. All had care plans, I never flunked an audit, I called my members every month or less if needed. Google my name if you want to see the articles that mentioned your company. I doubt you would even know about it. I was never mentioned on your intranet when I returned with my award. I was accompanied to the 41st congress of Oncology by a Molina Medical Director as my guest. Please, I beg of you...please help these members. I have the proof to substantiate my claim. These members are loyal to Molina, they shouldn't have to give up their lives for a company that should be protecting them from greedy providers and upper management in your company who turns a blind eye to their plight. They are high cost members. I kept their cost low. I have left the company to do oncology case management for a commercial vendor but still take calls in the evening for anyone who needs guidance. I just think you should know as one healthcare provider to another. We are here in thee service of others, Please help this population. Thank you for your most precious time.
