Dr. Mr. Lechleiter, I am a 61-year-old female currently on long-term disability(LTD) after working as – John C Lechleiter email address

Irene sent a message to John C. Lechleiter Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Eli Lilly and Company Email Address that said:

Dr. Mr. Lechleiter,

I am a 61-year-old female currently on long-term disability(LTD) after working as a Communications Manager for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia. I suffer from severe fibromyalgia. Cymbalta brand had been my life saver. It gave me a whole new life of movement and reduced pain.

I need your help.

The coverage I have had for the last two years has required me to pay a $2,700 deductible before I can get a 90-day supply of brand Cymbalta and paying close to $400 when filled. Before I meet my deductible the cost is $592. I have tried the generic, tried at least 10 combinations or other drugs, but none give me the relief that Cymbalta does. My LTD payments prohibit me from any of Eli Lilly's assistance programs. Soon I will lose my health coverage and none of the ObamaCare offerings cover Brand.

I never thought that I would be in this position after working my entire life.

Is there anyway I can obtain Cymbalta 60 mg brand directly without using my insurance? Any options you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

I understand this is a business, but I am asking for compassion.

Thank you in advance for anything Eli Lilly might be able to do to provide assistance.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Irene
