To start with, I have my Bachelors in Computer Engineering from India and Masters in Computer Science from University of Texas.
I came to USA looking for great opportunities that I heard all my life.
Just to make it to this country, my family and I struggled so hard. And after 3 years of sleepless night and helping my father with his business, I was finally able to qualify for loan and secured admission here.
In this whole process, I was deviated from my major because of financial issues.
Later when I graduated with my Masters degree, I had the knowledge but no professional experience.
Most of the jobs posted online with this degree need some professional experience, along with no sponsorship availability.
I graduated in May 2018 and still looking for an entry level job to start with. I have no family, relatives or contacts here.
Since I am an international student, I have to maintain my Visa status and I can't be unemployed for more than 90 days.
Because of all these factors, I finally had to join a consultancy where we are employed but no projects to work on and salary to earn.
To get into a project they make us do some unethical things to get a Senior Level Position which are against my morals and being on F1 Visa I don't have any other place to go.
All I want is to start as a Junior Developer (with or without sponsorship of H1B) so that I can start my career and apply knowledge earned in my school which will also help me repay my loan and go back to India to see my family.
I am writing this to you because I am out of options and looking for help to start my career. And I want to start it right.
