I reccently made a purchase at eddiebauer online. the product was late, and when it arrived it was defective. I reached out to eddiebauer to make a return and this was a complete nightmare. I have had experience with with MEC, AMAZON, OUTDOOR RESEARCH, HELLY HANSEN and a whole lot more. Eddie bauer was terrible. I was given wrong direction on every step of the way. They couldn't even get me a return label. They offered to send me a gift card and got the amount wrong. I was told it would be 21 days from my return to be refunded and it's been longer. Now i'm told its another 21 days from the date you receive the item. what next. Today, if your customer service is terrible, you will never compete with companies i mentioned above and this is why I will never shop again at eddie bauer. I still don't have my money back. should it take 2 months for a return? amazon took a day or two, MEC refunded me while on the phone...
