KarlĀ sent a message to Edward Lampert Chairman and CEO of Sears Holdings Email Address that said:
Edward, I need your help. We have reached the highest level of incompetence at your Sears store in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Here is the succinct chronology:
Bought ovens on 12/23 told we could have them installed on Dec 29 or 29th. Also told sears would call the next day to schedule installation.
12/24 no call
12.25 Christmas
12/26 Leslie called to let us know someone would be calling to schedule within 24 hours.
12/27 no call
12/28 no call. Called the number provided at 4pm. Transferred to another number where Debbie said they were having trouble with the installer in Fort Wayne. Promised to call with more info within hour. No call
12/29 I called Debbie again at 10am. She said the installers said the oven wouldn't fit in our house and we needed to have work done first! Nobody had. Allows or been to my house to even be able to give that answer! I said this. She said she would meet with her supervisor and call back within the hour. Finally at 4 pm, after no call, I called her AGAIN! She said they had fired the installer and I would need to call our sears where we purchased the oven to schedule installation.
12/30 Leslie called to say installers would be contacting us within 24 hours to set up delivery. Said there was no record of any of the conversations prior to this date.
12/31 no call
1/1 no call
1/2 no call
1/3 no call
1/4 Received a call to schedule install for the 11th of January. we were promised the 28th or 29th of December. Further, the installer noted that they could not do any trimming of the cabinets despite the fact we purchased the Kitchenaid fit kit.
We now have been without an oven for 2 weeks. We need your help to make this situation right.
