My name is Samuel Veta and Ive written before regarding my dining experience at an “Outback Steakhouse” in Burbank, California
last year. I took my friend for her birthday using a coupon from an Email Id received after seeing a commercial on TV about a dinner
special. When we got there, the waiter informed us that their location didnt honor the coupon or discount special! I wrote you and
your company as well as posting my complaint on your Facebook page. I was notified by you or someone in your company and
sent 2 ‘Outback Gift Cards to use as consolation for my trouble and experience.
So tonight, February 15th I went back with my friend to celebrate my birthday to the same location in Burbank, California.
I gave the waiter my (2) gift cards which I was sent by your company to have him check the amounts remaining on them because I didnt
think Id used either of them yet? He returned to the table to tell me that one card had $20 on it. The other card “Was NOT ACTIVATED”
and worth nothing! So once again, I ended up paying for my meal and going through problems with the experience. To top it off, it was my
birthday dinner and I had my heart set on a prime rib dinner which I like ‘extra rare! However, all they had was MEDIUM RARE, so I ended up
with coconut shrimp instead.
I just put the UNACTIVATED CARD number into your website link to check it and it tells me that the card is good for $20(?) - yet the waiter told me it was UNACTIVATED at the restaurant? So I dont know what is going on anymore? I guess Im not meant to dine at OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE for some reason?
