To whom it concerns:

On July 16, 2021, I contacted your billing department. I tried to explain to the lady, that our July bill of $263.58 was incorrect. I told her apparently when they switch the meters out to go to your new system, the man read the old meter wrong. She said “We do NOT have the old meters to check”. I said you can tell by our current usage and our past usage, we use around 60 KWh a day. Y’all are saying by the old meter we used 197 KWh a day, for 7 days, 3 times higher than usual. I asked the girl to get me a supervisor. Another lady came on, after another long wait, she told me it would be turned in to the department that checks into problem. Well it has been over a month. Our August bill came in, it is 554 KWh less than July and August is a hotter month. (Dollar wise, we have never had a $200+ Bill in13 years). I think that anyone should be able to see there was a human error in reading the old meter that was taking off. You do not need the meter to figure that out, it was not read right. The old meter was 3 times the KWh then we normally use, for the seven days the old meter was still in use. Please Check into this problem.
