Blaise DiMartino sent a message to Leo Denault that said:
Dear Sir,
After enduring almost a 12 hour electrical outage on July 25- 26, I would like to enlighten you how inept your phone outage and internet system actually is. During the entire outage there was never a time that u could get any sensible information about how long the outage would last, and for sure in the âwonderful technology age lord forbid you might be able to talk to a human.â
My reason for trying to get information is because my wife is on a oxygen machine 24-7 and I needed to plan accordingly. Fortunately I have a small generator and am able to take necessary steps to take care of my wife. To top it off I rode my neighbor hood late last night only to figure out my street with only 6 houses on it were the only only people without lights. Another call to report my outage to no avail. Thank goodness I was able to run my necessary appliances on a generator until this morning. This is not a complaint about the outage, they happen. My complaint is about the ineptness of the reporting system. Next time you go to give your computer people for the phone system a compliment, tell them they are jackasses as far as I am concerned.
Thank you
Blaise DiMartino
P.S. the outage map showed power on our street when we actually did not.
