Pam sent a message to Andrew House President and Group CEO, Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. that said:
Exactly 2 years ago on Christmas I purchased a Sony PlayStation for one son and an x box one for my other son. The x-box is working great. Your play station has a defect in the cooling system as I came to understand. Both gaming systems are very costly and I believe should last much longer than 2 years I have contacted your customer service department a number of times and for an additional fee I can send the gaming system to them to possible repair. My question to you is why doesn't Sony stand behind their product. My boys have many Nintendo systems including the original that is still working fine. How can you sell a product designed for children with defects. I would not recommend Sony to anyone and discourage anyone from purchasing your product. Now my son has a new PlayStation game that was never used. Opened on Christmas Day to play but only to find a defective system that would not allow him to play. Please send a response because I am really interested to hear what you have to say. Thank you.
