Mr. Clare Sanders (member Drag Racing Hall of Fame) sent a message to Bernie Ecclestone that said:
Big Formula One Fan - however, even though qualifying is exciting, the actual races are anti-climatic & predictable. The #-1 qualifier nearly ALWAYS wins the race.
MY SOLUTION for 2019: podium finishers from THIS race will start in positions #11, 12,13 of the NEXT race. Their qualifying will determine their #11-13 starting position. That's it! Simple, fair & easy to understand. The star (Hamilton?) can start at #11 and still win the race, but with an exciting move up the board, not the 7-second runaway we are forced to snooze through now. As Nike says, "Just Do It", Mr. Ecclestone!
