@fedex – Frederick Smith – Hello Mr Smith, On December 29, 2018, I sent a gift through Fed Ex store

Nora Watson sent a message to Frederick Smith that said:

Hello Mr Smith,

On December 29, 2018, I sent a gift through Fed Ex store location APGA. The cashier was very pleasant and helpful. She asked me if I wanted insurance on my package in which I agreed because I knew I was sending something of some value. She never asked if I wanted a signature attached in which I did not know that you had to ask for a signature. On January 2, 2019 it was stated that my package was delivered to a "front door" of an apartment building. The recipient never received the package.
I filed a claim, in which they indicated it was denied. I was never told at the time of shipping that I needed specific instructions or anything attached to the shipment. This was just expressed through the claims department. I am even uncertain if the package was actually delivered. The recipient was home at the time and stated that no one ever rang the door bell. When I checked the message of delivery on my phone, I informed the recipient and she went down stairs,. There was no package present. This is my first time sending with Fed Ex and I am totally distraught over this. This was the only gift I sent my mother which never made it to her. Now she will lose out and I will lose out all because your employee left a package unknown. I am requesting that you look into this matter. I would like my claim processed and my refund issued for my lost merchandise. I apologize if email may seem aggressive as I am very upset over this matter. Please advise. Thank you.
