Tracey sent a message to Kevin Mansell – Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Kohl’s Corporation – Email Address that said:
First, I want to express my concern that "Colleen," from Kohl's Executive Office has passed the buck to "Ericka," who stated that she was from Kohl's Executive Office, but then who then passed the buck to your Dallas based misogynist, allegedly named "Ernest," who was not only abrasive, confrontational and condescending, but who also wasted 114 minutes of my time yesterday, talking AT me, as if I was some sort of idiot AND after spending a perplexing amount of time ARGUING with me that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my account, as well as stating that there was a non-issue with an item that is on my account, which shouldn't be there and finally after an incomputable number of contradictions, he irresponsibly ending the phone call after placing an order on my behalf without taking the time to verify that the order was actually successfully completed, which it was not, but since he was clearly tired of talking AT what he perceived to be a simple minded white woman, I was left back at square one with the same problems that I had with my account before the 114 MINUTES of my life that I can never get back.
This all could have gone very differently; however, it didn't because of his belligerent and uncooperative attitude and instead of treating me with dignity, decency and like a human being, your self righteous, antagonistic, contentious and uncooperative employee, chose to treat me in the manner in which he did.
Due to the numerous discrepancies with my account, I am insisting that you immediately have a competent employee reach out to me today and no later to once and for all, resolve this issue. I am also advising you to maintain the integrity of the recorded conversation, which took place yesterday at approximately 5:07 pm EST and that this phone recording not be tampered with or destroyed, in addition to any and all phone recordings related since August 2016.
If I do not hear from someone today, I will have no choice in this matter except to escalate it to other agencies, including, but not limited to the Department of Consumer Affairs, the ACLU, and the Federal Trade Commission to look into unethical business practices of Kohl's, in addition to discussing the potential of a class action lawsuit against Kohl's for issues including, but not limited to discrimination, unethical business practices and erroneous billing.
I have spent well over 10 hours of my time since August trying to resolve unknown account issues and that, in my opinion, is 9 hours and 55 minutes too much. Furthermore, due to all of the anxiety and emotional distress caused by numerous Kohl's employees, I have had to cancel a very serious surgical procedure which was scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, September 22, 2016, which will result in a delay of my medical care and possible further health complications.
I do anticipate that you will be fully cooperative immediately upon receipt of this email and that you will reach out to me in not only an expeditious, but also a professional manner. In the event that I do not hear from anyone today, I will take your lack of response as your intentional disregard of this matter and failure to ensure proper and effective assistance in achieving a correct resolution, in addition to hindering a thorough investigation of the issues related to my account, which will all be factors in any and all further actions that may be necessary in the near future.
