First let me say that I will NEVER be shopping at GameStop ever again. I – J Paul Raines email address

First let me say that I will NEVER be shopping at GameStop ever again. I went into your store located in Town Center Mall boca raton to return a game that does not work. I purchased the game two days ago from Bryce who was nice and not a part of the problem at all. I had originally went into the store to purchase NHL 2016 and when I was ready to pay I was told that although the computer said there was 1 left it was a "glitch" in the system and they were actually out of the game which is completely understandable. I was then offered NHL 14 instead which I happily purchased and went on my way. When I got home to use the game my Xbox 360 did not even recognize it as a game as it was so scratched up a cat could not have done a better job.

My problem is with the gentleman who I believe is the manager of this store (scar on his lip) who not only refused to help me but was seemingly unconcerned that his store had sold me a defective game. I offered to show him my bank statement proving my purchase but no dice. This was an example of HORRIBLE customer service as he made no effort to work with me, or even understand where I was coming from. He did not offer me any other alternate solution or option and it seemed like there was no protocol or policy in place to deal with these situations and he gave me the impression that he just didn't want to deal with me. I am extremely disappointed in this customer service for not refunding me a defective game that I DIDN'T EVEN COME IN THE STORE FOR. I then tried to call the corporate office where I was on hold for AGES before I finally hung up the phone. You would think that GameStop would be catering its customers especially with all of the new competition around where I will now be purchasing my games and consoles. I have been a loyal customer for 14 years now and today was the last day due to this inexcusable treatment of a paying customer. I am extremely disappointed.
