@Ford – Mark Fields – Good afternoon, I recently purchased a Ford Focus from Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena, Texas

Good afternoon, I recently purchased a Ford Focus from Mac Haik Ford in Pasadena, Texas 77505. I'm a ford man always have been since my first car, a Maverick. I own a Ford Explorer which I purchased from Kenny Ross Ford South, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. Both of which were financed with Ford. It seems they both used a great program Ford offers for Veterans. Thank you.. But Kenny Ross never told me they used it or gave me any discount on the vehicle and Mac Haik, simply upped the price while the system shows a $4,500 down payment as a third party rebate assigned to creditor. I am very thankful for the program Ford provides. The issue is the dealers are not explaining it. They get on the computer and ask for my military information then leave. No explanation because they are taking the discount you provide us. We really don't get to take advantage of your amazing program. It's the old shell game, tell you about the program gather information then up the price or find a way to get that same money. The agreed price of the car (13,900) certainty did not go down $4,500. When your signing papers it looks as if the taxes, fees, interest and warranty cover the amount. But at no time did I ever see or continue to see any advantage to the $4,500 down payment. I understand I should have paid more attention while the deception show was going on. As I look at my paperwork I can't help but say I am a very disappointed Army veteran of 32 years. I can't help but wonder how many dealers around our great nation are doing the same thing.
I thank you for your time, I wish you and Ford all the best.
