Mr. Hackett, I am emailing you about my 2017 Ford Focus. I am upset that I bought it new, and am just at 61k miles. I was just told that my TURBO is shot. I always get the extended warranties. I know that things "happen", however ~ this is my primary car. I have grandkids that depend on me, one as young as 6months. My delima is that the extended warranty only covers a rental for 2days. Middletown Ford is telling me they could have my car up to a month due to some parts being on back order, and they can't do anything for me as far as getting me a car to drive while mine is being fixed. My car has only been serviced by Ford to keep my warranties good. How is it that a TURBO goes out at 61k and I'm stuck w/o transportation? Is there ANY way you can help me out? I'd appriciate, even a used car from Ford to drive. ( I bought the car/thinking I'd have it w/o major problems for at least over 100k miles?)
Thank you for your time, I appriciate anything you can do for me and my dire situation.
