Mr. Hackett,

I am writing to you because I own a 2011 Fusion of which the power steering quit while driving down the road. Ford has recognized the problem by issuing an FSO/FSA, but is not recalling the vehicles. Power steering is a must on today's road conditions and should not be taken lightly. Also, people who purchase a Ford Fusion aren't typically rolling in money to fix expensive faulty parts. I am a 100% disabled veteran so I don't have a huge cash flow. Being that Ford has recognized this huge safety concern I don't know why you would put a 150,000 mile limit on your FSO? Toyota put a knew frame on my parents Tundra when it had 240,000 on it. My hope in contacting you is to at least get rid of the miles limitation so people.with families can feel and be safe while driving your vehicles down the road. Thank you
