@ford_de – Alan Mulally – You?re a busy CEO so I will keep it brief. I?ve been a loyal Ford

Mr Terry Parrott sent a message to Alan Mulally that said:

You’re a busy CEO so I will keep it brief.

I’ve been a loyal Ford customer for many years, from company cars and now in retirement my personal cars. My current car is a Fiesta Vignale which, since new in Feb 2019, has been plagued with warranty issues. I thought I would upgrade to a PHEV Kuga Vignale, but now that order is also fraught with issues. I placed the order on 6th August with a delivery by 1st November the dealer promised.

Ford Europe knew of the battery charging issues on 25th June and stopped sales and production soon thereafter. Some 3 months later Ford Europe still has no resolution for the issues and hence a production restart date. I’ve exchanged a couple of emails with Andy Barratt (a few years ago he was very helpful sorted out an issue I had with my then Focus) but he too has no idea of the production restart date. My dealer (ThinkFord in Farnborough Hampshire UK) is less than helpful and is still advertising the PHEV Kuga despite there being a Sales and Production halt, so you can imagine how that hurts.

I actually still want my PHEV Kuga, but these endless weeks with no resolution to the technical issues and no delivery date, doesn’t give me “light at the end of the tunnel”.

Help,
