Dear Sir/Ma\'am,
I am Shikhar Vaid, a student from India. I have been offered an unconditional admission for the Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) by Monash University, Australia National University and the University of Melbourne. My father is a retired Indian Air Force pilot, and managing funds for my education is extremely difficult.
I have always longed to study in Australia, in the top institutions in the world. I am extremely fascinated by and passionate about Engineering integrated with Applied Physics. I was recognized as the world topper in Additional Mathematics and country topper in Extended Mathematics in my IGCSE examinations. âI have received the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma with an Overall Grade of 40 with a 7 in Physics-HL, a 6 in Maths, Chemistry and Economics all of which were at Higher Levels. I have scored 800/800 in both Physics and Maths (Level 2) in the SAT subject tests taken last year. Moreover, I have demonstrated my abilities in the natural sciences in all examinations in the past based on which I was made the President of the Technology Club in my school. Further, I was made the School Captain during my stint in the Student Government.
I humbly request you to consider my case sympathetically and if possible either connect me with or otherwise forward my needy plea to some of the notable donors who may be able to assist me with regards to the finances of my undergraduate studies.
They say nature conspires to help the dreamer, I ask you for help. I will truly be indebted to you.
Sincere Regards,
Shikhar Vaid
