My sone was triple charged for a car he rented at the LAX airport on 10/5/2018-10/7/2018.
I immediately contacted Budget Rent a Car within an hour after seeing a charge for $333. I reserved the car online on 10/4/2018 and confirmed a price of $109. At the LAX airport, the clerk asked my son if he wanted to upgrade anything. My son said "no" and just keep what was reserved the same. The clerk at the airport underhandedly put full coverage for the car and charged us $333. I contacted a supervisor named Shenita, and she told me if I wanted it changed, my son would need to drive back to the airport, pay to park, get in line, and ask to see the agreement. She told me that I had only a few hours to change the agreement and had to be done that day, 10/5/2018. My son could not get back to the airport to do it that day. My son has a disability and an option of reading the contract should have been offered to him. I'm very disappointed in how this was handled and illegally charged my son for something we didn't permit!!!
