Good afternoon,

I have been a Sirius subscriber for roughly seven years. Recently my Sportster 5 radio stopped working and I called to order a ew radio. I ended buying the SiriusXM Onyx Plus with vehicle kit. I was told by the young lady who suggested this radio that it would fit into the existing dock already hard wired into my vehicle. I attempted to install this radio about a week and a half ago. I called and told the person I spoke to that the radio was not working at the time. Today I had the radio installed in my vehicle by a professional car stereo company. The onyx radio did not fit into the existing dock!. When I called to activate the radio I was told that is was already activated and was being charged for two services, plus a thirty dollar activation fee. On top of that, the gentleman I spoke too, told me that it was an XM radio and my subscription would have to be cancelled and re billed be a use the subscription I had with my previous radio was different than this radio, and I would have to pay an additional fee for my internet radio which I had already paid for with previous radio.

This experience has really soured me on Sirius XM. I should have been told that the radio I was suggested to purchase was an XM only radio and it would effect my account. I have been reimbursed for the early activation but it should never have been activated in the first place.
