In February I orders a sectional sofa from Pottery Barn and at the same time opened a Pottery Barn credit card since the purchase would be interest free for 12 months. In July I received the sofa, and like very much and at the same time began paying down by balance of around $3,500. I recently received my second monthly statement for account number and see that I have been charge monthly interest, a total of $149.51 for two month.
I called the credit card company, which is Community Bank, they were very nice but told me the order was not placed under a promotion, which is not what I was told in the store (one of the deciding factors in the purchase was interest free financing for a year).
I paid off the balance, closed by Pottery Barn credit card today, and will never set foot in another Pottery Barn again.
