Good afternoon Mr. Lampert,
I am sending this email to advise you of the sad saga of Sears Service.
This may not mean much to you, but as a loyal Sears customer for over forty years, it is just plain sad.
My current issue is with a beautiful Sears Kenmore Elite French door frig . It is only two and a half years old ( I purchased the extended warranty) and the compressor is dead.
I contacted service on 11/1/17 and they said they could send someone on 11/6. OK so I had to toss all the food that went bad. Part to be delivered on 11/15 !!!??? where is it coming from ??? nine days for a part?? Will be installed on 11/16 as scheduled. Ok I called to check status on the compressor- no one could give me a delivery date only " in process". Bottom line I was told today 11/15 that the part will come on 11/16 and will be installed on 11/16 then a half hour later another call saying it will be installed on 11/24!!!! So here I sit a week before Thanksgiving with no Freezer or refrigerator working. Sir, this is NOT service.
